Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about shopping but…

GivingTuesday on November 29 is all about kicking off the charitable season, when many of us focus on our holiday and end-of-year giving.

The Social Justice committee is sponsoring GivingTuesday at the Fellowship with two big projects!

Here’s the plan

Sunday, November 27, 2016: We’re holding “Undie Sunday!” We’ll be collecting socks and underwear for men, women, boys and girls. All sizes are needed before winter sets in, according to Lynne Finding of LINK and PORT.

Tuesday, November 29 we’ll be collecting on-line for the Foodbank. In addition, you can place a check with Foodbank in the memo section tomorrow or next Sunday. Or go on-line now to make your GivingTuesday gift.

Did you know that every dollar you give helps provide 4 meals for individuals in our community who are struggling with hunger?

Right now, there are thousands of children, families and seniors who don’t know where their next meal will come from. You can help change that.
