Our Sunday morning services are meant to inspire, challenge and help us connect with our UU faith and guide us on our spiritual paths. So when the hour is done, we are often left with exciting questions and new ideas that we would love to share with others. While the hospitality time is great for casual conversations, the atmosphere doesn’t lend itself to deeper discussion.
On November 20th after second service we will be holding our first “Delving Deeper” service discussion circles. If you would like to talk with others about the morning service, please return to the sanctuary at 12:30. The circles will be made up of approximately 10 people with a group facilitator. The facilitator will guide the group through 3 questions about the service. We hope these one-hour circles will enrich your Sunday morning experience and help you carry it into your week.
Soup Socials: Now that Fall is here, mark your calendars that the Third Sundays of the month are Soup Socials! Beginning November 20th, after second service, there will be a variety of soups to choose from for all to stay and enjoy. This is not a potluck event, but instead we ask that those who desire to make a big pot of soup, sign-up to bring soup. We usually need between 5-7 pots of soup. Please go to the sign-up sheets on the bulletin board between coffee makers to sign up for the coming months. Not a cook? You can volunteer to bring bread, and to help with set-up and clean- up. Please plan to BYO bowls and spoons which will reduce our trash & our time cleaning up. Questions? Contact Rosalee at email@example.com
