Come ONE AND ALL to our Fellowship Family Picnic at the Aqueduct Boys & Girls Club! Sunday, Sept. 13th 12:30 – 2:30. Check out the club and meet the children! We’ll provide the hot dogs. RAIN OR SHINE!
What to bring:
• Folding chairs
• Food to share: snacks, a side dish, a dessert, soft drinks (simple or store-bought is great!)
• Children’s books (ages 6 – high school) to help start a club bookshelf.
Activities: giant Jenga, stomp rockets, mural painting, water balloons and parachute games. The air-conditioned club has a playground, gym and game room.
Volunteers are needed to help with activities. Supplies will be provided. Want to help or have an activity of your own? Contact Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The club is a 2-minute drive from UUFP. DIRECTIONS FROM UUFP: Turn right on Warwick. Turn right on Colony Rd. Turn right on Aqueduct Dr. The club is located at 13244 Aqueduct Drive (on the right) near the end of the road.

Interested in volunteering with UUFP and the Boys & Girls Club?
If you haven’t yet attended, come to a brief information sessions after each service on Sunday, Sept. 6th in the sanctuary. Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Mentors: Spend one hour per week with a particular youth at the club. Talk, play, help with homework and make a lasting difference in the life of a child.
Tutors/Homework Helpers: Visit the club during after-school hours or on Thursday evenings and help club members with schoolwork.
Programs: Offer a one-hour single or multi-session programs for club members on Wednesday nights. Share your talents and passions – arts and crafts, games, educational projects – the sky’s the limit!
