Seventh UUFP Thanksgiving Day Potluck

Singles and families are welcome and have both participated in previous years. Your response is needed by November 25 so that the right size turkeys can be purchased. Soup Socials

Submitted by Rosalee Pfister representing the Membership Committee
Now that it is fall, the membership committee will be hosting Soup Socials again! Remember the story of Stone Soup, where the whole town pitched in to feed each other? In the spirit of the story, we have planned a time to gather and share over a comforting bowl of soup during the fall & winter months.

Mark your calendars and plan on staying after second service on the fourth Sundays of the month, starting Nov. 24th through to Mar. 23rd 2014. Bring your bowls and spoons to keep with our Green Sanctuary motto (paper bowls will be available if you forget)! All are welcome to join in without having to bring anything except for your utensils and a willingness to help out if needed for set up and take down. If you enjoy making soup, we would love to have a variety of four to five pots of a soup.

Please contact Rosalee: ( Subject: Soup Social) if you would like to contribute soup, bread or drinks to the social. I look forward to spending this time together and getting to know each other better!

This event will be held in the common area around the kitchen and the Caum room.
