by Mason Moseley

Members of the Peninsula UU Fellowship in Newport News are invited to a General Assembly Viewing Party at Williamsburg Unitarian Universalists on Saturday, June 22 @ 7pm.

Have you ever been to General Assembly? Have you ever wanted to attend? Come to WUU Saturday night, June 22, for dessert and drinks and watch the live streaming of the Service of the Living Tradition.

Bring dessert to share and your own drinks.

When: Social time starts at 7pm, and the service will be live-streamed from 8:30 – 10pm. Thank you to Dave Wilcox who will provide the technological expertise.

The UUA describes the Service of the Living Tradition, held every year at GA, as one “where we honor fellowshipped and credentialed religious leaders, remember those who have died, recognize those who have completed active service, and welcome those who have received fellowship or credentialed status in the past year.” Almost 30 WUUs attended this service in Charlotte two years ago to witness Jennifer receive her final fellowshipping as a UU minister.
